Mmmm... Beer
Aug. 5th, 2004 06:06 pmOkay, for those of you who've been awaiting it, here's my list of beers from the Seattle International Beer Festival. They're all rated on the three-star scale, with beer region, type, and tasting notes.
( All my notes )
There were so many others I wish I could have tasted, that I could have spent all three days doing nothing but drinking beer. But both my bank account and my liver would have disowned me had I tried.

New Food - Zaina
Aug. 5th, 2004 06:33 pmFinal Edit: The restaurant is Zaina. They have three branches; the one I'm referring to is the Downtown branch.
It's downtown on 4th Ave, between Pine and Stewart, next door to the Bon parking garage. There are big signs all over, and it's almost impossible to miss.
Mediterranean, with lots of veggie options. The restaurant part is kind of fast-food-ish, with a fairly limited menu; but the food is excellent and the prices are fair.
They have a huge bar/lounge with live music on the weekends and a club-like atmosphere. I don't know if they have belly-dancing, but they should. It's also a hookah bar, with very big hookahs, and a good selection of traditional and modern shishas. The decor is a combination of Modern and Egyptian.
There's also an almost equally large covered outdoor seating area.
If you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend it.
chiarascura, we definitely need to hit this on a weekend sometime soon.
