I tried to watch, but i couldn't.

Everyone I know has been raving about Shaun of the Dead. I tried to watch it, but I just couldn't. I managed to get a quarter of the way through before being bored off my ass. I think I'm probably the only person in the world who didn't like this movie. I just didn't find it funny. Mostly it was just painful. Maybe it's my mindset right now, but I spent most of the time watching it hoping that the lead characters would get killed, horribly and painfully. When I watch a zombie movie, and find myself rooting for the zombies, I know that there's no point in continuing.

Mardi Gras?

So does anyone know of any interesting events happening for Mardi Gras? I know Glitzkrieg has their big show that night, but I do not want to be anywhere near Pioneer Square that night. I thought about going clubbing, but the club scene last year was dismal; and it looks like it's going to be just as bad this year.

So far, this is starting out to be a truly miserable, boring year.
