A prayer for a dying man.

A recent post by doofybatz that I thought more people needed to see. There are a couple of people for whom my friendship is in danger of being withdrawn, because of their attitude toward this.

I was going to write a huge article all about my adventures at Norwescon this year; but find that I'm simply not up for it. I don't really have much of anything to say. I'll just stick with a few comments and link to pictures.

I really really liked the panels this year. Much more than in previous years. There were conflicts between panels I wanted to see; but there were more I wanted to see, and not nearly as many getting cancelled.

People were great. It was nice to meet new people, as well as renewing aquaintances with others who I see only at cons, or only infrequently elsewhere.

Lots of nifty costumes; though none as spectacular as in the past, there were still many interesting ones. Was struck by the lack of Klingons and Imperial stormtroopers this year.

Only took a few pics; and some of those didn't turn out (still getting the hang of my camera, and there were some issues with forgetting to change the batteries). But I do have some pics online.

Shared a room with mizemm, morgyne, and sistawendy; which was interesting. I normally prefer to have a room to myself; but I could hardly have asked for better roommates; and would definitely not mind sharing a room again next year.
