Stoli Vanil and Lemonade is not a happy combination.

First, to get it out of the way, the "What I Wants for Christmas" list.

1) Nothing. No really, not a Zarqon-dammed dogfucking thing. I want to pretend that this holiday and all the attendent bullshit don't exist. I want to go to sleep and not wake up until the day before New Years Eve. I despise Christmas and have since I was in my late teens. I tried to like it, mostly for the sake of those closest to me, and I almost managed to tolerate it for a few years. But every year my disgust, discomfort, and loathing just gets worse. All the decorations and songs and family things stop barely short of causing me actual, physical pain. It feel like some sort of psychological allergy that keeps getting worse and worse. I simply cannot deal with it this year; and if I sounds like a complete and total Scrooge, so be it. I don't care. Bah fucking humbug.

2) If you still plan on getting me something, go back and re-read 1. If you can't cope with that, then I'll happily accept drugs (not stimulants) and alcohol to numb my brain enough to cope. But I am actively refusing to accept anything else. If you're planning on getting me something because you really care, and are doing it out of an expression of affection or friendship, I'll happily accept it after the 0holiday is over and done with. It will mean just as much then. More, really; and I'll certainly appreciate it more. If it's out of a sense of social or familial obligation, then I am really not interested.

Next, moozik.

Seven songs that you're digging right now. Doesn't matter if they're good, if they have words, or if they're anything you'd normally listen to. Just seven tunes that you're really liking at this moment. Not gonna do the tag thing, post if you want to; or not.

1. Pogues and Dubliners - Irish Rover
2. Flogging Molly - Finnigan's Wake
3. Pogues - Streams of Whiskey
4. Pogues and Dubliners - Whiskey in the Jar
5. Tom Smith - I Want to be Peter Lorre
6. Irish Rovers - Fuck the British Army
7. Dropkick Murphys - The Legend Of Finn MacCumhail

Been listening to a lot of Irish music lately. Just seems to fit my mood.
