Fuel Cell Motorbike to Hit U.S. Streets
Not really big on hydrogen-based fuels in general, since it's a net-loss technology at present, and for the forseeable future; but this is just major coolness. Especially the quietness factor. Not terribly fast, but it'd nice for tooling around the city and commuting.
Wish I could afford to get one. Maybe if I start saving up, and only eat one meal a day for the next year and half. Hydrogen is also difficult to come by, but the company that produces the bike is also offering a hydrogen reformer that extracts the gas from biofuels (vegetable/animal oils or ethanol), for about 1/4-1/5th the cost of the bike, that would would eliminate that issue and reduce overall fuel costs.
